Jordan Shome

Passionate about the arts since childhood, Jordan's background is diverse in experience and interest. From performing largely as a hip hop dancer in crews at large national events and singing mainly in pop and R&B styles, he felt himself pulled to expressing his love of the arts through story telling. This led him into the world of musical theatre. His love of dance led grew in other styles through attendance at a specialist performing arts high school and full time musical theatre and dance studies at Jason Coleman Ministry of Dance. 

Jordan has been fortunate to play led roles in musicals such as Footloose and Next to Normal, as well as performing as a principal / featured singer and dancer / dance captain in various musical numbers including A Chorus Line, Chicago, Prom, Hadestown, an American in Paris, The Great Comet, Newsies and many more. He is also an experienced performer in Vegas style cabaret shows. 

Jordan could not imagine his life without the arts and is passionate about giving back to the community that has given him so much. He is affectionately known as Melbourne's Hip Hop Spiderman. When not "booked and blessed" he has created choreographed and scripted dance shows with powerful positive messages for children that have been popular at outdoor events around Melbourne.
